Apartment Review for Charles River Park Apartments - Boston, MA

I'll be specific - I live in Longfellow PL. Apartments are extremely noisy. We hear every move of our neighbors upstairs. That's very unfortunate especially if they work at MGH and wake up early. I personally wrote for two months to the office so that they could ask the neighbor to be quite. I guess they sent some letters to them. They don't care. Finally we were just tired to wake up at 6 am and ended up moving to a different floor. Office told us that we are NOT going to be charged for that - but instead they took $500 off our security deposit. That's smart. Also we hear constant construction noise. We get letters from the office almost every week: sorry for our noise, sorry for our dust, sorry for our construction. We don't want sorries really, we just don't want to live at the construction site. Heating system is terrible and very weak. It is really cold during winter months. We pay 200-300 per month. We have one bedroom and it is freezing. Our friends live on the upper floor. 6 of the upper floors were flooded recently (March 2010) because of the rain. Views are great - no doubt. Great views of the city. That's pretty much it. Our lease ends in two months. We can't wait till we get out of this place.
